Quote of the Day is now finished. Thanks to all the regular and not so regular readers, and to all those who contributed quotes, whether they realised it or not! I hope you found some bit of wisdom to interest you, and that you enjoyed reading the quotes as much as I enjoyed finding and posting them!
You can now read and post quotes in the new Quote of the Moment thread. Quote of the Day will stay in general for now but may be moved to the archive at some stage.
As you can see, Ballina Chat has been pretty inactive of late! I accept a certain amount of responsibility for this, but I also think the rising popularity of sites such as Bebo and Facebook, in Ireland at least, has something to do with it. Please bear with us though and check back from time to time to see what's new!
